About Avril

Avril is a digital photographer who specialises in horse and pet photography. She has been working as a freelance photographer for more than three years, with over six years general graphic design experience. She is experienced at taking a photo from concept through editing to produce an image suitable for National/International advertising.

Her work regularly features in the full colour, nationally-distributed magazine 'Arabian Horse News' and on many websites and photography journals.

When Avril's old fixed-lens Sony F828 had more than paid for itself, she finally decided to upgrade to a digital SLR - a Canon EOS 40d. With it has come a more professional, streamlined approach to photo shoots, and a much higher image quality in her photos.

Photo shoots are a fun, rewarding experience worth treating yourself and your animal to. And unlike many photographers, Avril will supply you with digital "negatives" that you can print and use however you like. They capture the truly beautiful moments you share with your animals, from Avril's unique perspective.
